This kit is for the most discerning photographer who appreciates impeccable image quality, amazingly accurate color reproduction, and exquisite sharpness over fancy features like 4K video and lightning fast autofocus. To be clear, don’t take this kit to a basketball game and expect to walk off the court with a bunch of action shots to cull. While a bit snappier than its predecessor, the X1D, the X1D II is a slow camera, but for deliberate photography, I still love it.

For portraits, landscapes, or street photography, the image quality and resolution is unmatched. Wirelessly tether it to an iPad using Bluetooth and the Phocus Mobile 2 software and bring the Hasselblad studio experience into the wild with you. Add on some Profoto lights and a Nikon TTL-N Air Remote and you’ve got everything you need to take full control of what I consider to be one of the best mirrorless camera experiences around.

The XCD 35-75mm lens is the perfect one-size-fits-all lens to properly put this system through it’s paces for a first try or for anyone who wants the premier experience with the versatility of a high quality zoom lens. As with all XCD lenses, you can expect exemplary sharpness and clarity, and on the 50MP sensor, incredible detail.
