The Sennheiser EW-DX MKE2 Two Bodypack Transmitters Kit (Q1-9) is an audio bundle we created based around the Sennheiser EW-DX SK Bodypack Transmitter. Key features include:
Audio Without Interference. These Sennheiser EW-DX SK Bodypack Transmitters operate in the UHF band to avoid interference in the 2.4 GHz band and are equipped with an equidistant tuning grid that equally spaces 3200 frequencies across a wide 80 MHz bandwidth (470 to 550 MHz). With a 134dB dynamic range input, these transmitters can handle a wide range of sound sources. This kit provides two omnidirectional, sweat-resistant, and unobtrusive lavalier mics. They have a forgiving pickup pattern that captures sound well in every direction. The lavs also have locking 3.5mm connectors, so they won’t detach during a critical moment.
Easy Operation. With AutoScan, these transmitters will quickly assess your environment and automatically scan all frequencies to find the cleanest channel for you. Handy “e-ink” screens display the operating frequency and off/on status and will continue to display key information even after the units are powered off. You also don’t even have to set your gain thanks to proprietary Sennheiser Performance Audio Codec (SePAC) conversion technology, which Sennheiser says has the widest input dynamic range of any wireless system currently available at 134dB with a latency of only 1.9ms. Included are two BA 70 battery packs that will give you a full 12 hours of operation (and AAs can be used as backup). The included charger will fully-charge the two packs in just three hours.
Compatibility. Equipped with a standard TRS 3.5mm jack, these transmitters will accept lavalier and headset mics as well as instruments cables. They are also backward-compatible with EW-D receivers and with Sennheiser’s Wireless Systems Manager software and the Control Cockpit or Smart Assist apps. The EW-DX system is Dante-enabled and is capable of transmitting audio channels to/from other Dante-enabled equipment over Ethernet for maximum digital fidelity.
Batteries. The Sennheiser BA 70 Battery is a rechargeable 1720 mAh Lithium-Ion battery for the transmitters in the Sennheiser EW-D Digital Wireless Combo Microphone System. A fully charged battery will power a transmitter for up to 12 hours and recharge in around three hours. This kit provides you with two batteries.
Portable and Expandable Charging. The Sennheiser CHG 70N-C + PSU Kit provides you with a singular two-bay charger, but if your production requires more, you can attach and expand the system with up to five more units. This device will charge your transmitters, bodypack or handheld, with their respect batteries inside, or you can charge two standalone BA 70 batteries! Not only can this unit be powered through the included AC adapter, it also provides an RJ45 port to support PoE+. Even with up to five chargers attached, you’ll still only need one power source.
